How does it work?

Duration: 2 to 4 hours

• Accompanied by a sailing professional, you'll learn or relearn the basics:
  • Theory: essential nautical terms, safety aspects, understanding and reading a nautical chart, weather points, understanding tidal phenomena.
  • Practice: mastering maneuvers such as docking, taking on a trunk, mooring... understanding the rules of navigation and priorities at sea.

  • Chart reading
  • Optimal use of on-board equipment (GPS, depth sounder, VHF, trim...)
  • Dead reckoning
  • Steering in heavy seas
