Sewing lessons for children in Paris 11th arrondissement

What if your children were to enjoy a unique experience combining creation, cultural discovery and craftsmanship? This workshop allows them to become actors in their own creation, while discovering the world of African textiles.

Workshop schedule :

• Immersion 4-7 years, 1h15
• Sewing formula 8-15 years, 3h30
• Introduction to the basics of sewing and pattern-making
• Discover the history and specificities of African handmade textiles
• Creation of a unique accessory, made by each child for 8-15 year-olds; younger children are just introduced to the machine.
• Presentation of the creation + a surprise at the end of the workshop

This workshop is much more than a simple activity: it's a fun and enriching immersion that promotes creativity, learning and pride in creating with one's own hands.
