Parachute jumping in the Tarn region is a great way to experience the thrill of skydiving in a unique setting. The jump zone is located in the immediate vicinity of Castres, at Castres-Mazamet airport, which is about 50 minutes from Toulouse and 40 minutes from Albi. From here, you can take off and fly over a magnificent landscape in the heart of the Midi Pyrénées region.

Please note that the team offers 4 potentially interchangeable drop zones between Toulouse and Montpellier: Lézignan-Corbières, Narbonne, Castres & Revel.

Jump procedure

• You'll be given abriefing and a short theoretical course on the safety rules to be observed, followed by a briefing on equipment.
• You'll board the plane for take-off and a flight of around 15-20 minutes, during which you'll be able to observe the Occitanie region from the air. The tandem jump will take place at an altitude of between 3,000 and 4,000 meters.
• As the plane doors open, you can feel the excitement building. Then comes the moment you've been waiting for: the jump! You'll experience pure freefall for around 50 seconds, at a speed of 200 km/h! The result is incomparable sensations and intense pleasure...
• At around 1,500 meters, your instructor will open the parachute, and you'll be able to continue your descent at a more leisurely pace, under canopy for a few minutes before landing.
