Oléron: a dream spot for skydiving
You'll jump from theRochefort airfield near Marennes. You'll be able to observe the most beautiful landscapes of the Charente-Maritime region from the air. You'll have the Ile d'Oléron and its magnificent beaches, the Ile d'Aix, Fort Boyard and La Rochelle right in front of you. You'll have the chance to admire the entire Marennes d'Oléron basin from the sky.
Jump procedure
- 15-minute safety briefing.
- Board the plane for 20 minutes to reach an altitude of 4,000 meters.
- The airplane doors open, the stress and adrenalin rise... It's time for the big jump into the void. You'll take off for 45 seconds of free fall, reaching a phenomenal 180km/h! High above the clouds, you'll experience the thrills and chills of freefall.
- After freefall, your instructor opens the parachute. You'll follow this with an open canopy ride lasting around 6 to 8 minutes. You'll have a view of the sea, the Atlantic coast and the Charente archipelago.
- Your instructor will ensure a smooth landing.
The center: the school is FFP Parachutisme approved, and with its wealth of experience, offers you the chance to discover one of the most beautiful sites in France. Here you'll make a tandem jump: you'll jump harnessed to your instructor, who will take care of the technical aspects, while you enjoy the thrill of skydiving to the full.

A small reservation problem, fortunately I phoned the day before (misunderstanding between the receptionist and me). An appointment postponed from Sunday 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm because of a cancelled Saturday and the Saturday appointments postponed to Sunday. Because of the weather, the Saturday and Sunday jumps started at 12pm. As a result, my partner jumped at 7.15pm, in the clouds and with a poor view. I think his jump should have been postponed. Otherwise, the instructor was top-notch: he did 12 jumps during the day and was always in top form! And despite the clouds, after the freefall, my partner was happy to have done it.

It was my 2nd jump, very nice experience, cool team and very good welcome despite a slight delay because the departures are on Saint Agnant airfield and not Marennes. Small disappointment on the video, the breaking is not mine but it's the same content!

Know before you go
- As soon as your request has been validated, please call the center to confirm your arrival time.
- Please wear soft, comfortable clothing: sports shoes with jeans.
- In the event of bad weather, you will be offered a postponement. Weather postponements do not entitle you to a refund.
- Unlike bungee jumping, skydiving does not cause vertigo, as there is no reference to the ground.
- It is possible to jump with glasses or contact lenses.
- Minimum age: 13 years. Written parental consent required for minors.
- Maximum weight: 95kg clothed for men and 87kg for women.
- Min weight: 43kg and 1m45 minimum.
- Medical certificate required (only for minors and people aged 65 and over) of no contraindication to skydiving.
- Contraindications: ENT problems, heart problems or epileptic seizures.
- Not recommended for pregnant women.
