Do you love literature, dreams, and discovering wonders, and would you like to enjoy a peaceful, intimate, and respectful experience while exploring this marvelous place? Then join me to discover Miguel de Cervantes’ magical windmills. During our tour, we’ll visit Consuegra and its magnificent windmills; you’ll learn about their history and literary significance, and then we’ll head to Toledo, the land of the Knights Templar.

Itinerary:

  • Consuegra. We’ll depart from Madrid and head toward Consuegra. We’ll arrive at Cerro Calderico, home to Miguel de Cervantes’s “Magical Windmills”—a cluster of 12 whitewashed windmills built in the 19th century. These 12 windmills stand proudly on Cerro Calderico. Sancho, Rucio, Espartero, etc.
  • Zocodover Square. Upon our arrival in Toledo, we’ll walk for about 20 minutes. We’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the Alcántara Bridge, which we’ll cross to reach Zocodover Square, and then the restaurant.
  • Deheseo. Handcrafted products from Extremadura, sustainable and of the highest quality. Tasting.
  • Toledo. After lunch, participants will have about 2 hours of free time (depending on the group’s pace) to explore Toledo at their leisure, discover its streets, and admire their favorite sights. We’ll then meet up at Plaza de Zocodover, the meeting point for our visit to the Mirador del Valle.
  • Mirador del Valle Viewpoint. After two hours of free time to explore Toledo at your own pace, we’ll meet at the designated meeting point to head to the magnificent Mirador del Valle, which offers an exceptional panoramic view.
  • Return from Madrid to Toledo: We’ll head back to our meeting point in Madrid. After this experience, you’ll receive photos from the day via email.

A destination steeped in history and charm—it’s the perfect getaway.
