This workshop invites you to discoverplant ivory—a tropical seed with amazing properties—and to create a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry with your own hands in the heart of the Arcachon Basin. An original creative experience, led by an artist, in a small group and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Workshop itinerary (3 hours):

• Introduction to vegetable ivory: the history of the material, its origins, and the secrets of its transformation.
• Sanding and polishing a raw nut to reveal the smoothness and beauty of this unique material.
• Choosing the shapes and effects to highlight for your piece of jewelry.
• Creating one or two pieces of jewelry: cutting, sanding, polishing, drilling, and assembling—each step guided by the artist.
• Take home your one-of-a-kind creation, made entirely by your own hands.

No creative experience is necessary—you choose the piece of jewelry you’ll create, so it truly reflects who you are!
