Activity description :

  1. 3 hours
  2. Up to 100 people

La Bergerie Farm and the staff at the educational farm are happy to welcome you for an experience filled with shared moments and new discoveries.

Treat yourself to some fresh air in the company of the farm animals!

Don’t miss:

  • A true interpretive trail through the world of agriculture, the circuit offers a self-guided tour of the farm and its educational farm.
  • Explore the farm in a fun, educational, and self-guided way using educational tools suitable for all ages: information stations, a scavenger hunt, interpretive signs, and educational videos.
  • Meet the farm staff and discover their passion through their activities and demonstration workshops (sorting area, shearing platform, sensory area…). Guided tours are offered daily at 2:30 p.m.
  • Get up close and personal with our farm animals—sheep, cows, goats, horses, donkeys, pigs, rabbits, and poultry—to observe them, pet them, and smell them… (goat meet-and-greet at 5:00 p.m.)
  • Discover our historic site focused on sustainable development and agroecology.
  • They’re so cute—don’t miss the farm’s newborns! Kid goats are born in the spring, and lambs from September through February. Calves and baby rabbits are born year-round.
  • The Arboretum and barefoot trail at the Montorgueil Garden (open from the April school break until the end of the All Saints’ Day school break). Take advantage of your visit to the Bergerie Nationale to explore this area! Focused on nature discovery, the Montorgueil Garden lets you explore the historical and natural heritage—the true identity and richness of the place—through a barefoot trail themed around mulching.

The Bergerie’s gift shop is also open, offering souvenirs, toys, clothing, and, of course, food items from the grocery section. You can also purchase food and drinks on-site at the Mérinos Café.

In the event of an orange or red heat wave alert, visiting hours will be adjusted, and the garden will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please check these hours with the Bergerie Nationale before your visit.

A lovely place for adults and children alike. It's possible to stroke the animals while leaving them in their environment, it's very pleasant!

A superb afternoon with the family at Eva, with the added bonus of a very well organized Easter egg hunt! The farm is huge, with lots of animals: cows, calves, sheep, lambs, etc. A wonderful discovery!

Excellent welcome. The guided tour is very interesting, with children able to approach, touch and feed the animals. This farm has many different animals. Thank you to the enthusiastic and helpful reception staff.
