Don’t miss:
- A true interpretive trail through the world of agriculture, the circuit offers a self-guided tour of the farm and its educational farm.
- Explore the farm in a fun, educational, and self-guided way using educational tools suitable for all ages: information stations, a scavenger hunt, interpretive signs, and educational videos.
- Meet the farm staff and discover their passion through their activities and demonstration workshops (sorting area, shearing platform, sensory area…). Guided tours are offered daily at 2:30 p.m.

- Discover our historic site focused on sustainable development and agroecology.
- They’re so cute—don’t miss the farm’s newborns! Kid goats are born in the spring, and lambs from September through February. Calves and baby rabbits are born year-round.
- The Arboretum and barefoot trail at the Montorgueil Garden (open from the April school break until the end of the All Saints’ Day school break). Take advantage of your visit to the Bergerie Nationale to explore this area! Focused on nature discovery, the Montorgueil Garden lets you explore the historical and natural heritage—the true identity and richness of the place—through a barefoot trail themed around mulching.
The Bergerie’s gift shop is also open, offering souvenirs, toys, clothing, and, of course, food items from the grocery section. You can also purchase food and drinks on-site at the Mérinos Café.
In the event of an orange or red heat wave alert, visiting hours will be adjusted, and the garden will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please check these hours with the Bergerie Nationale before your visit.

The Bergerie was closed. Only the (non-paying) park was open. Yet you sent me 4 tickets (€25) giving access to the Bergerie with date and time of entry. What a disappointment for our guests from abroad. And incomprehension on my part.

Hello, I've been to the Bergerie several times but I'm more and more disappointed. There are fewer and fewer animals, milking was not scheduled, there were no activities for children, and the farm implements section would have benefited from the presence of a professional to explain the implements, or at least to update the signs. The price remains the same, but the quality has dropped considerably. I won't be going back there any time soon. What's more, the Bergerie website is not at all up to date. Can really do better

Feels unkempt. A sad place that seems to lack finance. On the other hand, the Merinos boutique is very nice.

Hello, The customer/visitor is not happy!!! At the reception desk we are told: no guided tour. No horse-drawn carriage (we had told our grandson, who had been asking for it for a long time, that we would be taking a carriage ride). In the enclosure where the animals that children can touch should be, only 3 goats were present. And to that I add an error in the checkout, which we didn't make on a previous visit. ) It's been sorted out since then, but it's a headache... And for good measure, I see quite a few buildings in a state of disrepair, notably the timber frames of the barns, but lack of routine maintenance can cost a lot more, and even lead to the building's ruin... ( price studies for buildings and public works... that was my job ) So, there's work to be done to get things back on track. All the best. guy BINOIS

Very disappointed, it doesn't look clean, it's even ugly, the upkeep leaves something to be desired for a national establishment, the hope for children's activities encoure-il faudrait-il avoir des moyens de jeux en bon état!

I was planning a visit with our grandchildren. Disappointing! Inaccurate map. Apart from the merino rams, no more detailed explanatory panels. What breed of cow, pig, horse, chicken or other barnyard animal, etc.? Why are some lambs separated from their mothers, as well as calves and piglets? And above all, what's the purpose of this sheepfold? What a shame!

This farm is good for seeing and touching animals, but you can't learn much and there's not much information about the history of the farm or the animals. The part of the farm with the dovecote is in poor condition. In an overall assessment, the Bergerie unfortunately no longer represents its importance in French history. Restoration is essential if the Bergerie is to become a place of public education.
