Would you like to restore a piece of furniture on your own? Not sure where to start? What steps should you follow? What tools and techniques should you use?
Lisa is pleased to welcome you to her workshop and boutique, located in the heart of Bordeaux’s Chartrons antique district, for creative DIY workshops.

Workshop itinerary (3 hours):

• Bring your own small piece of secondhand furniture to restore: a stool, side table, nightstand, chair, or any other item with flat surfaces.
• First, you’ll consult with the artisan to assess the piece, determine what you’d like to transform, and choose the appropriate techniques.
• Then it’s your turn to get to work! You’ll start by sanding the surface to prepare the piece. Next, you’ll apply the finish of your choice: paint, oil, wax, or varnish.
• You can also line the inside of certain surfaces, such as a drawer, with fabric, depending on your preferences.
• Finally, you’ll add a few details, such as handles or knobs, for a personalized finishing touch.
• You’ll then head home with your beautiful, refurbished piece of furniture, ready to take its place in your home!
