1-day sewing course in Paris 11th arrondissement

Want to master the basics of machine sewing in just one day? This introductory course is for you! A good compromise between a one-day course and an intensive beginners' course. With the completion of two projects, you'll leave with the notions you need to sew at home.

Morning: a travel basket or drawstring pouch
Afternoon: pyjama shorts (women's or men's model)

Course schedule (7h) :

• Choice of fabric from our stock (all materials supplied).
• Concepts covered :
  • Threading the sewing machine
  • Choosing stitches and settings
  • Straight sewing using reference marks
  • Cutting fabric
  • Master basic techniques: bartacks, corners, slides, hems, overcasting, etc.
• Leave with your finished garment or accessory and the tutorial for reproducing it!

The workshop remains open during the lunch break (approx. 1h), so you can take your picnic on site, in the park opposite or nearby.
