This course has been specially designed to give you the basics and the autonomy you need to launch your own projects! 4 lessons of 2h30 over 4 consecutive mornings or afternoons to learn how to sew on a machine, master its operation and the basics of sewing (sewing straight, zipping, hemming, etc.).

You will make :

• 6 make-up remover wipes (organic cotton fleece)
• a large-format lined shopping bag
• a lined zipped pencil case
• cotton pyjama shorts or an elasticated viscose skirt (fluid fabric): your first garment!

Course (4 x 2h30) :

• Choice of fabric from our stock (all materials supplied)
• Concepts covered :
  • Threading the sewing machine
  • Choosing stitches and settings
  • Straight sewing using markers
  • Cutting fabric
  • Master basic techniques: bartacks, corners, slides, hems, overcasting, etc.
