Once a convent for Dominican nuns, the Unterlinden Museum now houses more holy relics than it did back then!

The museum’s collection of archaeological finds spans approximately 7,000 years, featuring Greco-Roman mosaics, a 17th-century harpsichord, and modern masterpieces such as Jean Dubuffet’s *Don Coucoubazar*.
Alongside the famous Isenheim Altarpiece are numerous other medieval altars, as well as the largest collection of paintings by Martin Schongauer.
