The Itinerary—Maine-et-Loire and the banks of the Loire

Duration: 2 hours

Departing from Bouchemaine, from the floating dock on the Maine River, you’ll set sail on a 2-hour cruise through the heart of Maine-et-Loire to explore the landscapes and buildings lining the riverbanks. You’ll enjoy commentary from your crew, who know the region like the back of their hand and will be happy to share the history of this river with you. Extras are also available on board: tapas, charcuterie, and sweets, along with wine, beer, soft drinks, or sodas. There’s something for everyone.

The Boat—The Baroudeur

Your small group will board the Baroudeur, a traditional sandbarge. With its flat bottom, the Baroudeur offers a comfortable ride thanks to its stability and shallow draft, which allows it to navigate even in shallow water. Measuring 12 meters long by 3 meters wide, it can accommodate up to 12 passengers.
