Canoeing on the Cure
Self-guided course - From age 6 - All levels - 8km
The Cure is one of France's most beautiful rivers, a tributary of the Yonne. Located in the Morvan valley, the Cure flows through some 30 communes, including Pierre-Perthus and Cravant.
How does it work?
Our partner will welcome you at the Saint-Père leisure center for an equipment session and briefing. A bus will then take you to the trailhead in Malassis. Then it's time for adventure: you'll descend to Sermizelles, where a bus will be waiting to take you back up to Saint-Père.
For bachelor parties or other group activities, Jean-Philippe and his team offer night-time outings for groups of 8 or more.

The 8 km ride is magnificent, but the finish is a disaster! It's hard to get ashore, as none of the canoes are stowed. No one to help you get out of the canoe - it's almost dangerous! What's more, even though we could hear the storm and it was raining, there were no safety instructions. Call me back if it gets worse... it's a shame, because it's really beautiful!

The walk is very good. However, the welcome could be improved. The lady who welcomed us didn't seem to be in a good mood, dry and even rough. It's a pity, because it doesn't make you want to come back.
