The Réserve Cousteau is made up of two heavenly islets: the îlets Pigeon. The Ilets Pigeon are two small islets located around 1km from Bouillante and Malendure beach. A protected area since 2009, they boast a concentration of underwater fauna that is unique in the archipelago. Between the superb coral massifs that cover the seabed, you'll observe a wide variety of reef fish (trunkfish, surgeonfish, parrotfish...) and, with a bit of luck, sea turtles!

How does it work?

To make the most of this magical place, Sandra and her team will equip you from head to toe for the canoe crossing (1.3 km to cover). Leave and return at any time you like, no stress discovery and contemplation, stroll along the ilets and discover the underwater world of the Cousteau reserve by snorkeling.
