Enjoy an exceptional moment in the heart of the Lozère region on this canoe trip to La Malène. The team welcomes you to its nautical base near La Malène, a small village in the heart of the Gorges du Tarn and an ideal starting point for canoeing.
Canoeing on the Tarn
Self-guided course - From age 4 - All levels - Distance: 10 km
You can make swimming and picnic stops as you go along at your own pace. Discover magnificent landscapes along this immense canyon carved out by the Tarn, where sumptuous villages have been built along the river.
How does it work?
On arrival at the Soulio water sports base, our partner will give you your equipment and brief you on safety instructions. You'll then set off down the river. A bus will take you back to the base.
For a more intense day, don't hesitate to book the 21 km descent, which will take you through chasms and rapids.

- By car: 50 min from Mende via N88 and D32
Know before you go
- Shuttle times to departure point: Off-season: 11am, 12pm, 1pm July/August: every hour from 10:30am to 2:30pm
- Departure at 8:30 a.m. in summer (July and August).
- Must be over 4 years old and at least 1 meter tall.
- Children benefiting from the Pitchoun price will be seated between 2 people in a canoe.
- Must be able to swim and immerse head under water.
- Free parking at base.
- Included: canoe, life jacket, paddle, waterproof can.
- Don't forget: t-shirt to keep under lifejackets, sun cream, swimsuit, towel, water bottle, closed shoes mandatory, covid-19 mask.
- Pets not allowed.
