The team invites you to visit their base in Axat, on the banks of the Aude between the Saint Georges and Pierre Lys gorges. In the heart of the Cathar countryside, you'll have the chance to try your hand at cano-rafting.
The cano-raft is an inflatable boat, a hybrid between a raft and a canoe, generally designed for 2 people, propelled by double paddles.
Self-guided trip - 1h30 - Class II to IV river - From age 10
During your canoraft outing, you'll have the chance to discover the natural landscapes of the Cathar country, and you're sure to get an eyeful.
When you arrive at the base, a member of the team will give you all the equipment you need, then brief you on the safety instructions to be followed. You'll then be able to enjoy your trip down the Aude on your own for 1h30.
Everything is in place to ensure you have a great day out, including a picnic area, a snack bar with fast food, ample parking and individual changing rooms.
