The team invites you to their base in Axat, on the banks of the Aude River between the Saint-Georges and Pierre-Lys gorges. Surrounded by nature in Cathar country, you’ll have the chance to try your hand at canoe-rafting.

A cano-raft is an inflatable vessel—a hybrid between a raft and a canoe—typically designed for two people and propelled with double paddles.

During your canoraft outing, you’ll have the chance to discover the natural landscapes of Cathar country; it’s sure to be a feast for the eyes.

How does it work?

Upon arrival at the water sports center, a team member will provide you with all the necessary equipment and brief you on the safety guidelines to follow. You’ll then be free to enjoy your 1 hour 30-minute descent down the Aude River at your own pace.

Everything is in place to ensure you have a pleasant day; on-site, you’ll find a picnic area, a snack bar with fast food, a large parking lot, and individual changing rooms.
