Situated 20 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand, the Gorges d'Enval offer the ideal landscape for an introduction to canyoning, but this time in a dry, waterless canyon! This course is ideal for learning canyoning abseiling techniques and familiarizing yourself with the equipment.

In this dry canyon, you'll abseil down some superb waterfalls and learn how to handle a rope and progress like a pro. With no wetsuit required, this course lets you discover that there's more to canyoning than jumps and slides.

Obstacles: abseiling (35 m maximum).

Your guide: you'll be accompanied by a state-certified instructor/guide.

How does it work?

After an equipment session and briefing, you'll take a short 20-minute approach walk up a fairly steep slope. Descend the canyon and walk back down for 5 minutes.

A first step towards exploring more technical water canyons, accessible only with these skills.
