On this excursion, you'll spend a full day exploring the most emblematic sites in northern Tenerife: Teide National Park, Icod de los Vinos, Garachico, El Caletón natural pools, Ten rural park, the hamlet of Masca... A true compendium of all the island's treasures!
The program:
- Your first stop will be Teide National Park, located in the heart of Tenerife and home to Spain's highest peak: the volcano El Teide, where you'll pause for around 30 minutes to admire the impressive volcanic landscapes of the Cañadas del Teide and the iconic Roques de Garcia.
- After this visit, you'll descend to Icod de los Vinos, where you'll have the chance to see the famous Drago Milenario, estimated to be over 800 years old.
You'll have free time for lunch, at your leisure or sampling Canarian gastronomy at one of the recommended local restaurants.
- You'll then visit Garachico, a picturesque coastal town whose history was marked by a volcanic eruption in 1706. Stroll through the streets of its historic center, a cultural heritage site and one of the most representative of the Canary Islands. Discover emblematic sites such as the natural pools of El Caletón, formed by lava flows, and San Miguel Castle, an ancient fortress that once protected the town from pirate attacks.
- You'll then continue on through the lush countryside of the Teno rural park to the hamlet of Masca, nestled between impressive valleys and ravines. Let yourself be charmed by the traditional architecture of this hamlet, classified as a Place of Ethnographic and Historical Interest and a Site of Cultural Interest.
