Jet-Surfing in Porto-Vecchio
Duration: 30 minutes to 1 hour - From age 10 - Must be able to swim
Jet surfing is a motorized surfboard with a powerful engine. The board lets you glide across the water at high speed (up to 60 km/h). The boards are made of 100% carbon, making them lightweight and extremely maneuverable. The motor runs on gasoline and oil, stored in a tank built into the board.
You'll have the chance to sail from Palombaggia, a true Corsican gem! With its calm lagoon and unobstructed views, it's the ideal place to glide across the water.
How does it work?
When you arrive, you'll receive a briefing on the instructions to follow, the navigation zone, the reflexes to have in case of a fall and how to operate the board. You'll then be equipped with all the necessary safety gear. You'll then set off for 30 minutes to 1 hour. You'll be accompanied by a professional instructor throughout the session.
15-minute Tandem Jet Surf formula :ideal for children aged 4 and over. After a short briefing, they'll leave for a 15-minute tandem session with the instructor on the same board. The child will be equipped with a life jacket. They must be comfortable in the water and know how to maintain their balance in the water with the lifejacket.

The meeting point is a small wooden hut located between the Tamaricciu and Palm Beach Palombaggia restaurants.
Know before you go
- Minimum age: 10 years
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Equipment supplied: vest, helmet, cutter, walkie-talkie, etc.
- Boards adjustable to user's height and weight.
- No previous experience necessary.
- Accompanying persons can join the activity by boarding the instructor's boat (€10/person, payable on site). They can then take photos/videos and swim (snorkelling mask included).
