An initiation to linocut and printmaking, to discover the gestures of artisanal printing and leave with a unique creation, made with your own hands!

Workshop schedule (2h30) :

• Introduction to the tools and materials essential to the practice of linocut printing
• Introduction to the principle of intaglio engraving and the printing process
• Presentation of the steps involved in creating a linocut design: drawing, engraving, inking and printing.
• Equipped with gouges, you'll engrave your motif on a linoleum block.
• Several prints will be made to create a repetition of your motif.

At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with your engraved linoleum block and your prints on paper.
