You'll be able to discover gum engraving by making your own personalized stamp or Ex-Libris, the famous stamps used to mark the ownership of a book.

Workshop schedule (2h) :

• Presentation of essential tools and materials over tea/coffee
• Several motifs and designs will be proposed to guide you step by step.
• Once you've chosen your design and transferred it to the eraser with tracing paper, you'll engrave your stamp using gouges.
• You can test your stamp with an inker, and correct it if necessary.

At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with your very own personalized stamp and some engraving skills.
