Lac de Monteynard is an ideal place for kayaking. Less than half an hour from Grenoble, it's a popular spot for nature lovers, and with its green and blue waters, you'll almost forget it's a lake.
How does it work?
When you arrive at the Savel water sports base, our partner will give you your equipment and brief you on safety instructions. You'll then set off for a ride on the lake.
When the weather's nice, there's nothing better than a kayak trip!

Very well managed, the manager showed us a route to follow that would last about the time of our reservation. The lake was very pleasant and the kayaks comfortable. They didn't hold it against us, despite the fact that we returned a little late due to an overestimation of our capacities and the wind.

In general, we enjoyed kayaking. The staff are very welcoming and are always ready to reschedule departure times in the event of late arrivals. The only advice I can give the kayak company is to always specify, check and inform participants on how to wear and tighten the life jacket. One of us nearly drowned after falling into the lake. We later discovered that the lifejacket was not fastened properly. He could have died because of such a small mistake. We're not all pros and we don't all know how to swim, so it's important that you pay more attention to your customers' safety.
