Set out on a self-guided kayaking trip from Cul-de-Sac Bay and paddle to Pinel Islet at your own pace through the calm waters of the Saint-Martin Nature Reserve.

How does it work?

Morning Package — Self-Guided Tour — All skill levels — Ages 3 and up

You can set off between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. for about 3.5 hours of paddling. That’s plenty of time to reach Pinel, enjoy the beach and go snorkeling, and head back at your own pace.

Upon arrival at the Pinel dock, the team will provide you with your kayak, paddle, and life jacket, then brief you on safety guidelines and the best routes in the area.

You’ll then set off on your own for a paddle of about 800 meters (10 to 15 minutes) to Pinel Island. Along the way, you can stop at the sandbar or Little Key.

Once there, enjoy the beach, go for a swim, or take a break for a drink at one of the beach restaurants (bring cash). You’ll then head back at your own pace to the starting point.

  • High-quality kayak and paddle, certified life jacket
  • Comprehensive safety briefing and route guidance
  • Free parking nearby
  • A morning-friendly package with no strict return time constraints
