Making a wood-pulp girdle puppet in Paris

Open to children aged 8 and over, this 3-hour workshop takes place over 2 sessions. You'll have the opportunity to create a wood clay puppet from A to Z. Valentina will guide you through the creation of your puppet and give you all the advice you need.

Workshop schedule (2x3h) :

The activity revolves around the various steps involved in making a puppet:

• Modeling the head and hands
• Cutting the sheath (puppet costume)
• Sewing or gluing
• Painting the head and hands.
• Assembly phase to finalize the puppet.
• Finally, time permitting, an introduction to puppet manipulation is offered to help you discover the basics of acting and setting puppets in motion.
