Open to children ages 8 and up, this 3-hour workshop takes place over 2 sessions. You’ll have the opportunity to create a wood clay puppet from start to finish. Valentina will guide you through the process of making your little character and provide all the advice you need.
Workshop Schedule (3 days, 3 hours/day):
The activity covers the different steps involved in making a puppet:
- Shaping the head and hands
- Cutting out the costume
- Sewing or gluing
- Painting the head and hands
- Assembly phase to complete the puppet.
- Finally, time permitting, an introduction to puppetry is offered to help participants discover the basics of puppetry and how to bring the puppet to life.
