Parent/child propeller boat workshop in Paris 18

Activity description :

Does your child love making his own toys? Would you like to do a manual activity with him/her? François and Nadine welcome you to their workshop in the 18th arrondissement for a propeller boat-making workshop.

Course of the workshop (1h30):

• Cut out the wooden and/or foam hull.
• Gluing and assembling the various elements.
• Boats are made from diverted materials (wooden sticks, reclaimed wood, rubber bands, etc.) and include 3D-printed parts.
• Choice of propulsion systems to suit the age of the participants.
• Customization of the boat: addition of floats, deck or sail...
• Painting and varnishing of the boat.
• Test the boat's buoyancy and speed before taking it home.

The instructors :

• Nadine : Her strong points are manual activities, creativity and human contact. Also passionate about modeling, Nadine will naturally guide you in the creation of unique objects.
• François: A passionate handyman and enthusiastic jack-of-all-trades, he loves passing on his skills and leading groups.

This activity is a great opportunity to spend some quality time with your child. Instructors adapt to the child's age and ability to concentrate, if necessary by setting up groups of different levels.
