Julien, a self-taught cutler, welcomes you to his workshop to make your own personalized stainless steel knife. And who better to guide you through the process than the world's runner-up in cutlery!

Workshop schedule (8h):

• Project launch, prototype drawing
• Construction of knife lines, drilling, routing
• Lunch offered, followed by heat treatment of the knife
• Customization by electro-erosion of the blades
• Work on a stationary benchtop sander to shape the edge geometry using abrasives only
• Handle assembly, finishing and cutting test
• Debriefing and tidying up

Whether it's a folding knife, a kitchen knife or a table knife, the aim of this workshop is to create a knife for everyday use that's just like you. You'll learn from a professional in the trade, a Knifemaker 2.0 whose watchwords are teaching and sharing.
