A Grasse-based perfumer since 1926, Fragonard invites you to the Perfume Museum in Paris to learn about perfumery and offers you the chance to create your own eau de cologne in the Perfumer’s Workshop. You’ll then enjoy a self-guided audio tour of the museum.

Activity itinerary (1 hour 30 minutes):

• History of perfumery, origins of raw materials.
• Exploration of raw materials and essences from the perfumer’s organ.
• Explanation of the olfactory pyramid: top note, heart note, and base note.
• Awaken your senses and your olfactory memory.
• Creating your own Eau de Cologne with citrus and orange blossom notes, using any of the 9 essences provided.
• Everyone leaves with their creation in a 100 mL bottle, a certificate signed by the instructor, and an “Fragonard”-printed apprentice apron.
• You’ll then have the opportunity to visit the museum (with an audio guide) located 50 meters from the workshop (45 minutes). There, you’ll discover all the secrets of perfume-making: raw materials, harvesting, extraction, distillation, formulation, industrial production, and bottling.
