The Itinerary - Piana & Scandola

Duration: 8 hours 30 minutes

In just one hour, you’ll reach the iconic Scandola Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking display of its exceptional marine and terrestrial flora and fauna.

On Gargalo Island, you can visit the cathedral and take a break to swim in the turquoise waters while our captains prepare a “nustrale” aperitif—a tasting of local charcuterie and rosé wine from our region.

At noon, we’ll arrive in Girolata, a small fishing village built around an 18th-century fort accessible only by sea. You’ll then have a 2-hour-and-15-minute free stop for lunch, during which you can choose from several restaurants overlooking the sea or enjoy a picnic you’ve brought along on the beaches inhabited by wild cows.

We’ll set sail again at 2:15 p.m. toward the Gulf of Porto for another swimming break atAnse Ficaghjola, a small village overlooking a paradise-like beach. We’ll then hop back on board for a thrilling ride to the Calanques de Piana, a geological gem with majestic cliffs and caves that we’ll explore one after another. We’ll head to the natural pool at Capo Rosso, where you can dive into its crystal-clear waters surrounded by fish, all under the watchful eye of the Genoese tower of Turghju.

You’ll enjoy one last swim atCala di Pala Cove, where you can jump from natural diving platforms at various heights. We’ll continue this fantastic ride until your return, leaving you with stars in your eyes and an unforgettable memory.
