Activity description :

Come and learn how to dye from plants, roots, flowers, bark and food scraps, thanks to Elisa's know-how! During this 3h30 workshop, Elisa will share her experience as a herbalist and introduce you to plant dyeing.

Course of the activity (3h30) :

• Theoretical explanation of the different stages of plant dyeing.
• Learn how to identify plants suitable for dyeing.
• Discovery of dye plants.
• Application of techniques: pre-washing, mordanting, dyeing, rinsing, drying, care.
• Vegetable textile dyeing on a silk scrunchie or two linen and recycled cotton napkins (your choice).
• Leave with your own 100% DIY creation!

This is a great workshop if you want to learn the rudiments of vegetable dyeing, with family or friends, come and dye fabrics using plants.
