Come and learn how to make your own hat and become a true fashion designer! In the 9th arrondissement, Karin welcomes you to her workshop under the roofs of Paris. This cramped but comfortable space is ideal for inspiration and creation.

A few words about Karin: she is a hat designer and has created her own brand, which she offers in the form of seasonal collections. She also makes hats for the entertainment industry and some custom orders. She decided to create this discovery workshop to share her passion for millinery.

Course of the workshop (2h) :

• Explanation of the activity over refreshments.
• Learn about Karin's background and her passion for hats.
• Creation of your own hat according to your tastes and the availability of raw materials.
• Advice from Karin throughout the activity.
• Each participant leaves with his or her own hat and a wealth of techniques for creating new pieces.

Two types of hat are proposed:

• The bibi hat: you'll make the basic felt hat before Karin teaches you how to use feathers, veils, flowers and other accessories to personalize your creation.
• Straw hats: you'll mold the straw using a hat block, before adding the decorations of your choice to match your style.

The workshop is run in a very small group of no more than 2 students, so that you get 100% of Karin's attention. It's a truly privileged moment that you can share over the course of a class lasting up to 3 hours.
