The team welcomes you in the heart of the Gironde, on the port of Arcachon. You'll head out to sea for your first scuba diving experience, where you'll learn the basics of scuba diving. You'll also be given a description of the site, as we're located in the 44-hectare zone, a popular area for celebrities and writers, and protected by environmental laws. You'll cross the Bassin d'Arcachon, passing the Ile aux Oiseaux, the Cabanes Tchanquées, the oyster beds, the Dune du Pilat, and the Cap Ferret. Once in the water, you'll see octopus, conger eels, nudibranchs, spider crabs, edible crabs, pout...

How does it work?

Pick up your equipment at the store. Once in the water, you'll spend 20 minutes alone with your instructor. He'll take you safely through the first sensations of weightlessness. Before or after the experience, you can swim around the boat. Back at the Arcachon diving center, your instructor will issue you with your diving certificate.
