Away from the hustle and bustle, a little out of time - the Parc de Saint-Cloud offers an exceptional setting for learningabout botany in the field. As soon as you arrive, you're in the heart of the park, immediately surrounded by plants to observe, identify and pick. With Adeline, an expert in botany and the uses of plants, you'll explore one of the best picking sites in the Paris region, equipped like a real botanist.

Course of the walk (4h) :

Welcome and equipment distribution: each participant receives a pair of foraging gloves and a field magnifier.
Observation game to introduce basic botanical criteria - without jargon, accessible to all.
Introduction to reading plants: what to look for, where to look, how not to confuse two species.
Exploration of the best picking spots in the heart of the park, basket in hand.
Friendly picnic break (bring your own) - a chance to talk freely about the day's curiosities, culinary uses and ethnobotany.
We'll send you a recipe sheet after the outing, to help you make the most of your harvest.

About Adeline:

Having fallen into the plant pot in 2018, Adeline began with intensive training in wild gathering, before joining the team of a specialized training organization as head of the field section.
