Course of the workshop (2h):

• Introduction to the history of sushi: its origins, its evolution in Japan and then in France, and the cultural differences surrounding its preparation.
• Discover the ingredients: which types of rice and fish to choose? How to adapt recipes to vegetarian or vegan diets?
• Preparing the rice, cutting the fish or vegetable garnishes, learning the key gestures for a successful presentation.
• Simultaneous production: each participant makes his or her own sushi and maki, guided step by step by the instructor.
• Enjoy a convivial tasting of your creations as you go along.
