Activity description :

Come and discover the fascinating world of tatakizome! Also known as Hapazome, tatakizome is an ancestral Japanese technique involving the hammering of plants (leaves and flowers) to extract their juices and obtain their imprints, immortalized on textiles.

Course of the activity (2h) :

• Introduction to plant color and presentation of local plants
• Time for practice: come and choose between two different supports
  a totebag or a cotton pouch to practice this technique.
