Activity description :

From the Saint Louis keep to the medieval towers and ramparts of Aigues-Mortes. As the town was linked to the Mediterranean by canal, Aigues-Mortes transformed its towers into prisons. Then, following the revocation of the Edict of Nantes in 1685, Protestants were imprisoned here.
