Learn the art of sushi in a workshop led by Sakura, a passionate Japanese cuisine artisan. Over the course of two hours, she’ll teach you the essential techniques for making delicious sushi and maki, while sharing her expertise in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Workshop itinerary (2 hours):

• Immerse yourself in sushi culture and discover the basics of this iconic Japanese specialty
• Prepare sushi rice by seasoningit with the traditional mixture of rice vinegar, sugar, and salt to achieve its characteristic texture and flavor
• Learn the proper techniques for slicing salmon, tuna, sea bream, or shrimp—depending on available ingredients—while respecting the texture of each ingredient
• Then put your skills into practice by shaping your sushi by hand and making various types of maki—both classic and California-style—while refining your rolling techniques and balancing the flavors
• Finish the workshop with a friendly tasting of your creations alongside Sakura and the other participants

At the end of the workshop, you ’ll take home the rest of your creations to share with your loved ones. Vegan options are also available.
