At the heart of an estate dedicated to aromatic and dye plants, enjoy a rare experience centered on Pastel, the emblematic plant that has marked the history of dyers. From cultivation to processing, immerse yourself in an ancestral know-how handed down with passion.

Tour (2h):

• Take a tour of the estate and discover the cultivation of pastel, lavender and other plants, depending on the season and weather conditions.
• Explanation of the pigment extraction process in the indigoterie
• Access to the vegetable dyeing workshop to experiment with vat dyeing, in the traditional manner of the XVIIᵉ century, alongside the Master Pastelier
• Presentation of the properties and benefits of fresh, pure Pastel oil.

The visit continues at the "À côté du potager" boutique , where you'll find the creations of the Château des Plantes brand, made on the estate, as well as products from the beehive and organic aromatic plants.
