Come and discover theancient art of wickerwork in Fayl-Billot, in a peaceful setting. Delphine, passionate about this craft, will guide you in the creation of your own wicker basket, passing on her know-how and traditional weaving tricks.

Workshop schedule (8h):

• Delphine welcomes you to her workshop and introduces you to the history of wicker and basketry.
• Discover the different parts of the basket. Choose from a variety of wicker types, including rougebelle and elix.
• Introduction to the subtleties of weaving, with the option of choosing between single-strand and double-strand weaving.
• The morning will be devoted to creating the basket base (measuring 25 x 17 cm in height, without handles).
• The afternoon will be devoted to finalizing your basket as a whole.

At the end of the workshop, you' ll leave with your very own wicker basket, a creation made with your own hands and a skill you'll be able to reuse at home!
