Treat your taste buds to a tasting of French wines and cheeses, hosted by Simon.history and tasting techniques, while sharpening your sense of smell with aromatic samples, to learn how to perfectly pair wine with cheese or chocolate.

Tasting schedule (2h):

• Meet Simon in his wine bar and begin your experience with a brief introduction to the world of wine.
• Discover the history of wine, familiarize yourself with the different wine-growing regions and learn how climate, grape type and location affect taste.
• Then learn how to taste wines. First, examine the wines and admire their color. Then, smell the wine before you taste it.
• During your experience, you'll taste two glasses of white wine, two glasses of red wine and finish with a glass of champagne.
• Depending on the option you choose, you'll learn how to pair your wines with cheese or chocolate. You'll learn why each cheese or chocolate corresponds to a different percentage of wine.

Throughout the tasting, Simon will explain the wines, cheeses and chocolates. As you go along, compare the smell of each wine with a different perfume sample to train your sense of smell.

At the end of the tasting, you'll be able to choose your favorite wine from any restaurant in Paris.
