Activity description :

Climb aboard a 3 Axis microlight from the Royan-Médis aerodrome to discover the Atlantic coast. Comfortably seated in the cockpit during the microlight flight, you will see the immense fine sandy beaches pass before your eyes and can even head inland with varied landscapes ranging from pine forests to oyster beds.

Royan: the ideal spot for microlight flying

From Royan, discover the Charente-Maritime countryside as you have never seen it before. Your pilot will take you to discover the Atlantic coastline, the Ile d'Oléron and the Bay of Biscay. So many landscapes that will blow you away!

Course of the flight :

• Reception at the Royan-Médis aerodrome: tour of the aircraft, safety briefing and instructions to be followed during the flight (15 minutes).
• Boarding in the cockpit of the microlight and fitting of a radio headset to talk with the pilot.
• Take-off and flight of 40 mn or 1h30, according to the chosen formula.
• Soft landing at the airfield and debriefing with the pilot.

Several flights are available:

• 40-minute flight (+ 15-minute briefing): over the north coast, Ile d'Oléron, Bay of Biscay, Cordouan (68 m) and La Courbe (64 m) lighthouses.
• 1h30 flight (+ 15 mn briefing) : fly over the Atlantic coast, Royan and Ile d'Oléron, which you will tour.
