The proposed activity didn't live up to the description. While we expected to visit the Marais district and discover unusual food and wine, we were treated to a lecture on Japan and "visited" 2 streets in the Marais. François doesn't have any partnerships with local artisans, so we weren't expected, and if the place was closed or busy, we didn't go. We sat for 1 hour at a restaurant eating asparagus, pâté, mushrooms and roast potatoes. We could have found this restaurant on our own... For an oenologist, this one didn't teach us anything, other than to drink the wine straight... The concept sounded good, but it's a rip-off. Very disappointing value for money.

I enjoyed this quiet stroll through the 6th arrondissement. And all ears for François' "lecture" on the history of the neighborhood. I enjoyed all the food and wine. I would have liked to choose the bistro dish and know the name of the bistro and the wine merchants, as I can't find them on the internet.
