Discover canoeing on the Loue from the base at Ounans near Dole, on a course of up to 7 km. You'll be able to admire the region's landscapes at your own pace along this river that flows through the Doubs and Jura departments.
Canoeing on the Loue
Self-guided trip - From age 6 - All levels - Distance: 7 km
This trip will give you the chance to admire the magnificent scenery, regular whitewater passages and magnificent structures along this route, which will take you through the wildest part of the Loue. You'll also appreciate the beaches where you can stop for a swim.
How does it work?
On arrival at the Ounans leisure center, our partner will give you your equipment and brief you on safety instructions. You'll then set off on a descent of the river. A bus will take you back to the base.
You can also opt for a longer 13 km run between Arc et Senans and Ounans or 21 km between Port-Lesney and Ounans.

Superbe descente seuls, la loue était très calme donc sécure avec notre enfant de 7 ans. Quelques petits rapides bien amusant. Nous reviendrons pour le plus grand trajet de 20km.

Free parking available in front of the leisure center.
Know before you go
- Base open from May to end of August.
- Please report to reception 10 min before departure.
- Minimum height: 1.20 m
- Imperative: ability to swim at least 25 m with immersion.
- Bring light, closed shoes, sun cream, cap, water and charged cell phone.
- Rental includes: canoe, paddle(s), buoyancy vest, helmet, watertight can, river guide sheet, minibus shuttle to meeting point.
