Canoeing and Kayaking in the Hérault Gorges

Set out on a canoe or kayak trip on calm waters in the heart of the Hérault Gorges. This 4-km water excursion is perfect for enjoying a relaxing time with family or friends in an exceptional natural setting.

How does it work?

After receiving your equipment and a safety briefing, you’ll set off on your own for a roughly 2-hour paddle. Departures take place in the afternoon starting at 12:30 p.m., with the last departure at 4:00 p.m. Upon arrival, a bus will take you back to the water sports center.

Whether you’re with family or friends, this experience will let you enjoy a special moment in the heart of the Cévennes’ iconic landscapes!

Directions:
- By car: 55 min from downtown Montpellier via the D27E1
- 5 km past the village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert toward Causse de la Selle. Drive through Saint-Guilhem and follow the road along the river until you reach the red canoe located by the roadside.
