Your Truffaut store invites you to take part in a workshop-course to learn how to collect and save water in the garden. You'll discover all the essential steps for installing a drip irrigation system, a rainwater collector or an oya, a gesture that's as ecological as it is economical.
Thanks to our many tips and tricks, you'll also discover techniques for conserving soil moisture and all those plants that require little water and are therefore ideal for the garden.

This workshop is divided into 2 parts: theory and practice.

Course of the workshop (2h):

Theory:

• Introduction and discovery of the basics and how to use and collect water in the garden.
• Presentation of suitable plants, those that don't require much watering and their location in the garden when it's specific.
• Techniques for conserving soil moisture: aerating, draining and enriching the soil, planting and mulching surfaces.
• You will identify the watering system best suited to your needs.

Hands-on:

• Demonstrations and practical exercises:
  • Installing an above-ground rainwater collector: connecting to the gutter, installing the collector and learning how to use the harvested water.
  • Handling and setting up water-saving systems: drip irrigation, oyas, etc.
