Discover the art of felt hats with Nelly and Marie-Lou. A handcrafted, creative and made-to-measure experience!

Course of the workshop (6h):

• Discover the models: try on different shapes and colors to choose your future hat.
• Quickly createa sketch of your hat.
• Moulding the felt: the felt, softened by steam, is stretched and modelled little by little on a wooden form.
• The hat rests in the oven while you create the decoration.
• Removing the hat from the mold: you remove the small silver pins (nails) holding the felt in place.
• Finish and sew grosgrain ribbon to adjust hat size.
• Fold over the brim with nylon thread for added strength.
• Iron the felt in the direction of the nap, with tips on how to preserve it.

You'll leave with a one-of-a-kind hat, created with your own hands, as well as care and storage tips for long-lasting enjoyment!
