Would you like to discover the Camargue from the air? Willem and his team offer you a first flight in a ULM Pendular or Multiaxis, departing from the Aérodrome de Nîmes-Courbessac, just outside Nîmes. During this activity, you'll enjoy a flight of 15 minutes to 1 h 45 with a professional instructor who will share his passion with you.

Nîmes: the ideal starting point for microlight flying

Departing from Nîmes, you'll be able to admire the magnificent Languedoc region, its breathtaking landscapes and the emblematic sites of the Gard. In particular, you'll be able to admire Nîmes from the sky, as well as the famous Pont du Gard.

Course of the flight :

• Welcome at the Nîmes-Courbessac aerodrome: briefing on the flight schedule, safety instructions and specific features of the microlight.
• Installation in the microlight and take-off for a flight lasting 15 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes, depending on the formula chosen.
• Landing and debriefing with the pilot.

Several microlights are available:

• Multi-axis ULM : gives you a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside, while being protected by the fuselage. With a relatively low flying speed, you can really enjoy the view.
• Pendular microlight : a more intense experience, with a speed of 80 km/h "nose to the wind", just like a motorcycle. More accessible in spring/summer.

Several formulas are available:

• 15-minute flight: over Nîmes and its arena.
• 25-minute flight: head for the Pont du Gard for an extraordinary flight over this UNESCO World Heritage site.
• 30-minute flight: discover the Pont du Gard, an ancient Roman aqueduct, then the wildly beautiful Gorges du Gardon.
• 45-minute flight: drive to Uzès, a renovated city with its Duchy and Bishopric, to the Gardon Gorges and over the famous Pont du Gard.
• Flight 1h15: you'll either head for Les Baux-de-Provence and the Pont du Gard. The second route takes you to the Pont d'Avignon via the Pont du Gard.
• Flight 1h45: discover the Camargue from a new angle! In fact, the only angle from which you can see and appreciate the whole Camargue! Take to the skies and discover the colorful palette of the Salins du Midi, the mythical beach of Beauduc, the town of Saintes Maries de la Mer, the Camargue ponds and their pink flamingos, and the Petit Rhône...
