Come experience the thrill of a paramotor microlight flight departing from the Goussainville base in Eure-et-Loir. Accompanied by Fernand, you’ll fly in a paramotor—an aircraft consisting of a paraglider wing and a lightweight engine integrated into a protective cage. A propeller provides the necessary thrust. Takeoff is done on foot or while seated on a wheeled cart.

Eure-et-Loir: the ideal region to discover paramotoring

Departing from Goussainville—just 40 minutes west of Paris, not far from Dreux—you’ll fly over the department’s landscapes: the Eure Valley, ponds, mills, and historic castles such as Maintenon and Anet.

Flight itinerary:

• Welcome at the Goussainville airfield: introduction to the equipment, ground briefing, and flight itinerary.
• Board the aircraft and take off from the airfield.
• Flight lasting 15 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the package chosen.
• Landing and debriefing: Fernand will present you with your first-flight certificate.

Several packages are available:

• Thrill Flight (25 min): for thrill-seekers who want to experience the aircraft’s flight capabilities.
• Introductory Flight (40 min): for those who want to learn the basics of flying and take the controls for about 15 minutes under the supervision of your instructor.
• Eure Valley Tour (1 hour): to discover the gems of the Eure Valley, flying either north toward the castles of Anet and Ivry-la-Bataille, the abbey church of Le Breuil-Benoît, and the Chérisy ponds; or heading south, with the castles of Maintenon and Nogent-le-Roi, the Normoulins mill, and the Pierres ponds.
