Would you like to discover the Camargue from the sky? Guillaume offers a first-time flight experience in a pendular microlight, departing from the Nîmes-Courbessac Airfield, right next to Nîmes. During this activity, you’ll enjoy a flight lasting from 15 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes with a professional instructor who will share his passion with you.

The pendular microlight delivers intense thrills thanks to its speed of 80 km/h with the “nose into the wind,” just like on a motorcycle. Best enjoyed in the spring and summer.

Nîmes: the ideal starting point for microlight flying

Departing from Nîmes, you’ll be able to admire the magnificent Languedoc region during this flight, with its breathtaking landscapes and iconic landmarks of the Gard department. In particular, you’ll get to see Nîmes from the sky, as well as the famous Pont du Gard.

Flight itinerary:

• Welcome at the Nîmes-Courbessac airfield: briefing on the flight itinerary, safety instructions, and the specifics of the ultralight.
• Board the ultralight and take off for a flight lasting 15 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes, depending on the package you’ve chosen.
• Landing and debriefing with the pilot.

Several options are available:

• 15-minute flight: fly over Nîmes and its amphitheater.
• 25-minute flight: head to the Pont du Gard for an extraordinary flight over this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• 30-minute flight: explore the Pont du Gard, this ancient Roman aqueduct, followed by the Gorges du Gardon, which boast a wild, untamed beauty.
• 45-minute flight: a trip to Uzès, a fully renovated town featuring its Ducal Palace and Bishop’s Palace, to the Gardon Gorges, and over the famous Pont du Gard.
• 1-hour-15-minute flight: You’ll head either toward Les Baux-de-Provence and the Pont du Gard, or take a second route that takes you over the Pont du Gard to the Pont d’Avignon.
• 1-hour-45-minute flight: Discover the Camargue from a whole new angle! In fact, it’s the only angle that lets you see and appreciate the entire Camargue!
