Activity description :

Treat yourself to a privileged moment in the sky during an introductory flight from the Aix les Milles airfield. Different formulas are available to best meet your expectations! You will love the sensation of flying and the landscapes you will fly over are magnificent.

The solo initiation flight:

• You will meet at the airfield for your first flying lesson, which will last about 1 hour.
• You will start with a briefing on the ground with your instructor pilot on the characteristics of the aircraft and the fundamentals of air navigation.
• You will then board the aircraft and go to the end of the runway to enjoy the take-off from the front row! The feeling when the wheels leave the ground is always great.
• You will then begin your initiation to piloting by taking hold of the control stick! You will then learn about the 3 axes of flight and observe the behaviour of the aircraft.
• You will stay about 25 minutes in the area in total immersion in the skin of a pilot.
• Your instructor will take over the controls for a smooth landing.
• You will debrief your flight and the sensations you have experienced!

The introductory duo flight:

This is an Observer position! A first flight with one of you flying and the other listening to the information in the back of the plane, then a landing to change roles! You will enjoy a total of 50 minutes of flight time and can share your impressions during the flight!

The aircraft:

• The Cessna 152 is one of the most popular aircraft in the world. It is often used by flight schools and guarantees unparalleled flight comfort. Equipped with a 110hp engine, it can reach a cruising speed of 200 km/h and can accommodate 1 passenger in addition to the pilot.
• The Piper PA28 is a single-engine, low-wing piston aircraft. It has the particularity of being equipped with a tricycle gear and a single door on the co-pilot side. Also four-seater, it is an ideal aircraft for introductory flying courses. It will be proposed to you for duo flights!
• The Cessna 182 is a tourist aircraft designed to accommodate 3 passengers in addition to the pilot. Equipped with a 230hp engine, it is ideal for discovery flights with several people. It is a larger aircraft and will be offered to you if you are over 1.95m tall or weigh more than 95kg, at an additional cost.

Don't just enjoy a first flight in an aeroplane, but a real flying lesson with a pilot instructor. This flight to discover the sensations of flying could well get you hooked... It's a good thing that your hour of initiation is counted if you decide to go for a Pilot's Licence!
